LIAM'S PHOTO SHOOT

I Just couldn't bring my self to get professional pictures taken, soooo I ended up doing them myself (With the help of editing by my awesome friend Audrey Cottom).  Not going to lie New Born pictures are hard.  I can see why they charge so much. Trying to position them perfectly without waking them is hard. Sometimes Liam sleeps really well even when you are moving him and changing his position, but for some reason the day I picked to do the pictures he was not sleeping very well I know, I know I should have just done it a different day. But I was motivated that day and I knew it would be impossible for me to do it another day.   So here are the results of my first photo session. I love my adorable baby!!!

OUR HOSPITAL STAY

Throughout my pregnancy I was continually told how everyone was  so excited to get home from the hospital after delivering... So I was expecting that I would be that way too. They told me that they hated how the nurses would have to come in and check on you every hour and wake the baby to check the babies vitals also. and I understand, that could get very frustrating.... Some people told me the food was horrible, and the nurses were mean and would not help out much. That basically they just treated you like another patient and didn't care that this was your special moment with your new baby.   So needless to say I was kinda nervous for this hospital stay.   I did not want to have that terrible of a time. ............... Well my hospital stay turned out very different from what I was expecting.  My nurses were absolutely amazing  the food was fabulous the pediatricians were so kind the service was impeccable and I never wanted to

LIAM'S BIRTH STORY

Monday, May 11, 2015  Michael, my mom and I were headed out the door for my final doctors appointment at 9:30 a.m. Just before walking out the door with my mom and Michael, I all of a sudden felt a rush of water and yelled, "I just peed".  Well once I realized it was not pee because I could not control what was going on I yelled to them that my water had broke. At first Michael and my mom thought I was joking because I was always running to the bathroom, but this time it was not a potty run.  So we hopped into the car and called labor and delivery . They told us to continue on to our appointment instead of going straight to labor and delivery. We thought that was strange, but went to the appointment anyways. Once there my nurse finally called my name back.  When I got to her I told her I was pretty sure my water had broke at home just before coming. The nurse looked a little shocked and was not very sure what to do.
