I don't know about you, but I am feeling 22

Like in Taylor Swifts song I am feeling 22, but I am not dressed up like a hipster. One thing I love about my birthday is that it is never during school. I always loved it because then I got the full day to myself instead of sharing it with a million other students.  One thing I do not like about it is that it is right after Christmas and that there will always be snow. This year it was spent at my parents house, but during the day we went our to Rexburg to go glow in the dark miniature golfing, out to eat and of course a little bit of shopping in I.F.(Idaho Falls).  After our fun day out on the town we stopped at Sam's Club and got me a red velvet cake :) Once we got back, family came over and we opened presents and had cake and ice cream! Over all I had a fantastic Birthday with the ones I love! Here are some pictures of what I got and some of the things we did. Mini Golf! Michael got me a message in Hawaii for when we go in April!! And he also got me that cute swe

Home For The Holiday's

Snow is falling, Christmas music is playing and school is out for the holiday! We got to spend Christmas with my family again this year! I was so excited to get the semester over with and head to Driggs for 2 weeks.   Up until Christmas eve me and my mom baked some yummy Christmas treats.  Of course most of them went to neighbors and friends.  And this year instead of decorating a ginger bread house we made some cookies and decorated those.  It was still a lot of fun and you can eat the cookies when you are done.  Unlike ginger bread houses. Then once that was done we also made some hot cocoa and sat by the fire to what the Christmas message given by the first presidency of the church that was on that night. Here was my favorite talk of the Christmas Devotional Well Christmas Eve has finally arrived and like every year we all head to grandma's house for dinner, gifts and my favorite part reading in the Bible about Jesus in Luke. After the story has

Thanksgiving with the Nelson Crew

When thanksgiving is getting closer, it is a sign that my favorite holiday seasons are coming.  Once thanksgiving hits a whole string of events happens.  We have Birthdays and Christmas and more Birthdays then New Years, so as you can see this time of the year is my favorite! All we do is party and hangout with family, what is better than that? This year to start off the holiday season we went to Utah to be with Michael's family for Thanksgiving. They had to come down to Utah anyways to get somethings done for the business and so on, so it was a lot of fun being able to be with them for Thanksgiving. What we did: First off we visited with Michael's aunt and uncle who we are staying with for the weekend and got all settled in.   The next say was Thanksgiving and I made my favorite dish!  Sweet potatoes casserole(the kind with brown sugar and pecans and coconut).  This is my absolute favorite dish for the holidays, I could eat the whole pan if I wanted to.  After o

TREVOR IS HOME!!!!  For those of you who didn't know, Trevor is my cousin who served a mission in Tonga for 2 years!! And he is finally home!! Trevor is like an older brother to me.  Even though we didn't grow up close to each other, with him being in Washington and me in Idaho, we would always be able to pick up where we left off.  Trevor has definitely always been there for me and I know he will still be there for me.  When he left for his mission though I was so proud of him and happy for the choices he was making, but I was sad that I would not be able to see him for 2 years, I new I was going to be able to e-mail him whenever I needed to, but I was still sad.  While Trevor was gone on his mission I met a guy in my Basketball class at BYU-Idaho and almost a year later I married him.  I was sad Trevor could not come to my wedding, I did feel like one of my siblings was missing.  A week or so after the wedding when I got my pictures done, I was able to send him some of th

In preparation for halloween me and Michael went over to our friends Cameron and Jennie's house to carve pumpkins.  Me and Michael picked a spider to carve onto the pumpkin and cam and Jennie did frankenstein. Once we finish carving it we decided to put a glow stick in it instead of a candle this year. Got the idea from Pinterest of course. Halloween fell on a Wednesday this year, so we didn't know if we were going to be able to go to the traditional Wade family halloween party. Luckily our class schedules made it so we could go to Driggs for the night.  When we got to my parents house my mom put me straight to work making yummy halloween candies. We made carmel chocolate dipped pretzels and carmel apples.  They were soooo good, I crave carmel dipped apples all of the time. Here are some pictures of our creations. The finished product! Normally after all the kids have gone trick-or-treating or trunker treating at the church we all head over to gr
