Hawaii Trip!!!

Take me back, take me back, take me back!!

Island vacationing is definitely the only way to go!! As long as I am surrounded by ocean and beaches, I know I will have a good time.
Saving up for this trip was the best thing me and Michael have done with our money so far!  I had never been to Hawaii, so when he surprised me with the trip you can imagine my excitement.

WARNING: High volume of pictures! I could not narrow it down!

Monday:
We got into Hawaii at 11am.  Got to our hotel and soaked it all in.  Sense we were tired we took this day to go and relax on the beach, swim in the ocean, and go check out what Waikiki had to offer.

Of course had to squeeze some basketball into the shopping.

Found a cute little market place!

Sunset after dinner

Tuesday:
For breakfast we went to burger paradise, which was so good. We were told though that there burgers of course were to die for so we are going to go back there for dinner one of the nights.  After Breakfast we got ready to go on our tour of Oahu! Which was amazing! They took us to all the touristy spots like North shore, botanical gradens, the macadamia farm, and then for lunch they took us to fumi's which is a shack on the side of the road that serves fresh shrimp dishes!! Oh my gosh that food was amazing.  By far my favorite eating place in Oahu! Over all it was a great day here are some pictures of our fun stops.

If you look at the mountains it they said it looks like a pregnant woman laying down.
Head first, breasts, tummy then legs

 Our Dinner That night.

Wednesday:
One thing that really throws you off in Hawaii is the time change! You are so tired at like 7 o'clock, but don't want to go to bed yet because there is still a lot to do and go see.  And even when you go to bed late you still for some reason will wake up at 4 in the morning ready to get your day started! It was so weird waking up that early and it being dark, but your not tired any more because back where you are from it is 8 in the morning haha.  It was nice having the mornings to our selves though.  We would go out to the beach and just lay in the sand and watch the sun come up and then go eat breakfast when the stores open up.
After breakfast this day we went and rented some bikes to ride around on and to help us get to our massage!! Yes you read that right a massage in Hawaii!! It was so nice and relaxing.  We did that at about 1:30 and got out of there a little before 3.  The time went by so fast though! After our wonderful massages we went to the original pancake house, it is the same place as the one I went to in Salt Lake. We of course got banana pancakes with coconut syrup and oh my that was heaven!! It is a must in Hawaii, put coconut syrup on everything!
After we ate lunch I had a surprise I booked a surprise for Michael, so led the way on our bikes.  When we got to the spot where our activity was I told Michael he had to go away for a sec while I checked in, so about an hour later or so we came back to go on our adventure and I surprised him with parasailing! He was so excited, we could not wait to get out there.  I will admit I was frightened though.  It was a blast though we were the third couple to go and let me tell you it was so much fun when you get all the way up there it is so peaceful, you can not hear anything not even the wind going past you, it was amazing. When they brought us down they would dunk us half way under the water, that was scary because your out far in the ocean, but it was very cool and a great part of
the experience.
After our fun fun adventure, we headed to the beach and went swimming and relaxed in the sun the rest of the day. And then got dressed up to meet Ariel(one of the triple A's from collage) at Cheesecake Factory.  I was so excited to see her.  It had been a couple of years sense we had last been in the same room, so it was so good to finally see her again and Hawaii was the best place to do that!
Wednesday was an amazing day. Here are some pics.

Our lovely parasail

Good by land

It was so high!!!

There we go to be dunked!

Finally Together Again! Love this girl to pieces!

Thursday:
This mornings breakfast was awesome! We went to this nice restaurant at a hotel that was on the beach! It was so much fun and the food was amazing(picture below).  Pineapple is to die for on in Hawaii!
After Breakfast I took Michael to surprise number 2. Once again after checking I went back to Michael and had him come to the beach with me and sit for awhile and while we waited a sail boat started coming to the shore, so I pointed it out to Michael and told him that that is what we get to go on for and hour! He was excited for it and because we were like the first ones there we got to board fist and got great seats!  Sailing is a lot of fun, but really 45min is about all I can take or I would probably get really sick form all the rocking around, so we were out there for just the right amount of time.  It was a little scary being that far out in the ocean, but so worth it!
After the sailing adventure we took the rest of the day to shop at the ABC stores that are on literally every corner of every block and also tanned on the beach and swam in the ocean on some floats.
Dinner was also really nice! We had dinner on top of one of the hotels and you had a perfect view of the ocean it was so pretty. Our Thursday turned out pretty perfect.

the waves would splash us every once and awhile!

Having some fun at the beach!!

weighting for our food

The food was so yummy!! And everywhere we went we got a pinacolada, sooo soo good! Virgin of course

Honolulu at night

Friday:
Our last day in Hawaii definitely went out with a bang.
After Breakfast we went to the scooter store and rented some scooters so we could tour some different parts of the island. Once we got the scooters we headed off.
Our first destination was Diamond Head Mountain, which is a dormant volcano.
It was a really cool hike and at the top you get beautiful views of the ocean and Honolulu. It definitely is a must see if you go to Honolulu.
After our hike up the mountain we got back on the scooters and headed for Hunauma Bay which is a popular snorkeling sight. The ride to the bay was so much fun we had to drive on a highway, but it was the area was so pretty and it was just so fun to adventure around.
Once we got there we had to watch a movie about what we can and cant to in the water around the coral reef.  Then we got our gear and headed for the water on a nice hot day.
Okay so for those of you who have not been snorkeling let me just tell you that it is the weirdest feeling every.  You feel like you can't breath because your whole head is under water, but you can breath just fine because of the gear.  Also it is a little freaky, swimming with huge fish that come out of no where is freaky.  It was a great experience though and I would probably do it again.
After snorkeling we decided to drive around more because we didn't have to take the scooters back tell dark, so it was a blast driving all around Honolulu.  We actually found china town and bought some bananas and pineapple that were so delicious.  We then remembered that there was a farmers market going on close to our hotel in Waikiki, so we headed over there and got some more fruit.  There fruit is so good!
The last thing we did was try to find a light house we passed earlier that day because we heard that the sunset was pretty by it.  Well we found it but it was closed for construction, so we decided to still park our scooters and we found a little trail that took you down to the ocean. There were a lot of surfers in this spot, so it was fun seeing that, but we did get to see the sunset and even had the light house in the background so it was still worth it.
Once it got dark we took the scooters back and decided to go for one last swim in the ocean even though it was dark.  The street lamps kept it lit pretty well though.  While we were out there we went out on to the pier and noticed a lot of people where out and they were all looking one way, so we waited around to see what they were looking at and all of a sudden fireworks go off.  It was the coolest thing ever and a perfect ending to our vacation.
We had such a wonderful time in Hawaii! I can not wait to go back some time and check out some of the other Islands.
Here are the last of the large load of pictures :)

THE FINAL WEEK

How far along?    39 weeks We are in the final week ladies and gents!! Maternity clothes? Only a few shirts  and a dress. Other than that I just wear leggings, dresses, and some of Michaels shirts. Stretch marks? Not a single one thank goodness! When I was in school I learned in my  Anatomy  and Physiology class that if you start putting on shay butter/coconut oil(I used the Palmers cocoa butter and sometimes add my 100% coconut essentials oil.) two months before getting pregnant, that it will help your skin loosen and become more elastic.  So once we decided to start trying I  immediately  got some lotion and put it on every other day(or you can put it on everyday).  I know that, that is what helped me not get any stretch marks. I cant  guarantee  it will work for everyone, but what I do know is that if you don't start lotioning your skin early, it for sure will not be ready for the  drastic  change that is about to happen. Sleep? I have actually

ANNIVERSARY # 3

If I had my life to live over again, I would find you sooner so that I could love you longer.  Happy Anniversary Michael. I love you so much.  You are my greatest adventure. I couldn't imagine life without you!   This is the beautiful rose I came home to after work! My husband truly is the best.  Little things like this let me know that he is thinking about. In a marriage I feel it is so vital to let your spouse know in anyway you want,  but to just let them know you are thinking of them and that you love them. I made this cutie some yummy breakfast in bed.... .......... After work we headed over to Pizza Pie Cafe in Bountiful. We know its not a typical dinner date for an anniversary, but we LOVE Pizza Pie. They have the best oreo pizza in the world. Seriously though it is one of my favorite places to eat! After our wonderful dinner at Pizza Pie, we headed up the mountain to go shoot our new gun. We had to get ther
