Back Home

Our first week back into Idaho we went to Driggs to hang out with my family for the weekend before school started.  I love being able to see my family before school starts and before everything gets crazy busy.
For our visit back we took Michael up to Darby Canyon, which is where we have girls camp.  It brought back so many memories of when I went there for girls camp. It was fun showing Michael around to all the camp sites we stayed in.  After showing him around we started playing on the famous Darby slide and swings that are in the meadow.  Here are some pictures of our adventure there.









Oh and here is our friends the raccoon!  As we got closer to it we realized it was only a log.

A THANKSGIVING FULL OF FAMILY & LAUGHTER

I was so excited when I found out my family was able to go to Moses Lake for Thanksgiving! Tualatin is only 4.45 hours away from Moses Lake, so once they said they said they were going,  Michael and I were definitely going too. We had so much fun with the family, but missed Kelsey and her husband a lot! Hopefully next holiday season they will be able to get more time off from the Marines. So one of the nights we were there we all played Heads Up (The app game Ellen Degeneres made that is like charades.)  We seriously all about pee'd our pants we were dying of laughter! THINGS I LOVE

I feel it is so important to fall in love with as many things as we can, but to also fall in love with as many people as we can. As I have gotten older I have started to love things I did not care about when I was younger. I have grown to appreciate what my Heavenly Father has given to me on this Earth. and I have learned that when you love, you serve others. Which is the pure love of Christ...  and that is what will bring true happiness into your world. I am going to make a list throughout my life of things that I have fallen in love with. WHERE YOU GO I WILL GO

You always know when someone is going to giving you bad new. They sit you down and look at you with a sad/serious face. Then come the words you new you would hear, "I have some bad news".  And in your mind you are trying to figure out what could possibly be going on. Well as you probably guessed, this happened to me about a month ago. I was eating breakfast and Michael sat next to me and told me that he "had some bad news". I stopped eating and just stared at him waiting for the news,  but I had an idea of what he was going to say. I normally never get bad news and the look Michael had on his face told me everything.
