OUR LITTLE PUMPKIN IS DUE MAY 9, 2015

Yup you read that right we are having a baby, May 9, 2015!!

I surprised Michael by sending him a picture of my pregnancy test.
So when he woke up that was the first thing he saw.

I did the same with my mom because I needed her guidance on what I needed to do.
It was defiantly killing her to not be able to tell anyone the news,
but I definitely appreciate all the advice I have gotten as well as another person to talk to about it.

We were so excited when we found out, we just wanted to tell everyone right away,
but we waited and learned patience.

I would have been so heart broken to have to tell everyone if we had a miscarriage.

When we found out I was pregnant, I was 5 weeks along,
so for my first appointment they had to take a blood test.

For those of you who know me, know that I do not do well
with needles and veins in the same sentence.

As you can imagine I did not do well.
I kept moving and the nurse had to keep telling me to stop moving and oh my it was a night mare.

I know that this pregnancy is going to be a bumpy ride for me in the aspect of having to be poked everywhere.

After she got the blood she needed she sent me out to set me up for an appointment
for our first ultra sound.

I was so excited about that, but I was still in tears from the blood draw,
so as I was scheduling the appointment the secretary asked me if this was good news or bad news
that I was pregnant.

Oh my I laughed.
Thank goodness it is great news for me! But then I thought what if you asked that to someone and it was not great news.  That would be one awkward conversation I would hate to be apart of.

I just explained to the lady that I had a huge fear of needles and cry every time I am near them,
and I think that relieved her of why I was crying.

A few weeks later when we got to 8 weeks along, we decided to tell our closest friends and family!
This is how we decided to tell everyone:

Now that we are 12 weeks along and have gotten to tell everyone,  I feel so much relief.
I am the worst at keeping secrets and it eats at me if I cant tell anyone what is going on.

All I can say is 6 months better go by fast because I can not wait to meet this little one!!

We are so excited for this next chapter in our new life in Oregon!

Now we just cant wait to figure out what we are having!!!

A THANKSGIVING FULL OF FAMILY & LAUGHTER

I was so excited when I found out my family was able to go to Moses Lake for Thanksgiving! Tualatin is only 4.45 hours away from Moses Lake, so once they said they said they were going,  Michael and I were definitely going too. We had so much fun with the family, but missed Kelsey and her husband a lot! Hopefully next holiday season they will be able to get more time off from the Marines. So one of the nights we were there we all played Heads Up (The app game Ellen Degeneres made that is like charades.)  We seriously all about pee'd our pants we were dying of laughter! By far one of the funnest game nights I have had in a while!  I was able to catch a few of them on video, but I definitely missed the funniest ones. Here is a look at our crazy and awesome family! Justin and Dad Michael and Uncle Corby Seriously though if you are looking for something fun to do with a bunch of people, this is it my friends!! Do it. I absolu...

THINGS I LOVE

I feel it is so important to fall in love with as many things as we can, but to also fall in love with as many people as we can. As I have gotten older I have started to love things I did not care about when I was younger. I have grown to appreciate what my Heavenly Father has given to me on this Earth. and I have learned that when you love, you serve others. Which is the pure love of Christ...  and that is what will bring true happiness into your world. I am going to make a list throughout my life of things that I have fallen in love with. I want to be remembered as someone who loved everything and everyone. I want my kids to be able to know what I loved and that serving and loving everything is one of the  greatest gifts we have to become truly happy in this world. .......... Super Bowl

For the Super Bowl this year we are tagging a long with Ben and Rachel and headed to Rachel's mom's house in Heber for the weekend. On Saturday we went to the Ice Castles that were in Midway, which touches Heber, so we decided it would be a good idea to go because towns get selected to host the Ice Castles and this is the 3rd time midway was selected, so we thought we better go because it might not come back again. Once we got there we had to hop into a huge line that did go pretty fast but while we were waiting there were some guys juggling fire torches and also two guy carving ice sculptures, the two they was working on were the seattle Seahawk's hawk and the Denver Bronco's Bronco.  I was really cool to watch.  Once we got in to the Ice Castle we were frozen, we definitely did not dress right for the weather and we went at night so it was even more cold, but it was so cool because they had lights shinning on the ice and it would change different colors too.  Here ar...
