OUR LITTLE PUMPKIN IS DUE MAY 9, 2015

Yup you read that right we are having a baby, May 9, 2015!!

I surprised Michael by sending him a picture of my pregnancy test.
So when he woke up that was the first thing he saw.

I did the same with my mom because I needed her guidance on what I needed to do.
It was defiantly killing her to not be able to tell anyone the news,
but I definitely appreciate all the advice I have gotten as well as another person to talk to about it.

We were so excited when we found out, we just wanted to tell everyone right away,
but we waited and learned patience.

I would have been so heart broken to have to tell everyone if we had a miscarriage.

When we found out I was pregnant, I was 5 weeks along,
so for my first appointment they had to take a blood test.

For those of you who know me, know that I do not do well
with needles and veins in the same sentence.

As you can imagine I did not do well.
I kept moving and the nurse had to keep telling me to stop moving and oh my it was a night mare.

I know that this pregnancy is going to be a bumpy ride for me in the aspect of having to be poked everywhere.

After she got the blood she needed she sent me out to set me up for an appointment
for our first ultra sound.

I was so excited about that, but I was still in tears from the blood draw,
so as I was scheduling the appointment the secretary asked me if this was good news or bad news
that I was pregnant.

Oh my I laughed.
Thank goodness it is great news for me! But then I thought what if you asked that to someone and it was not great news.  That would be one awkward conversation I would hate to be apart of.

I just explained to the lady that I had a huge fear of needles and cry every time I am near them,
and I think that relieved her of why I was crying.

A few weeks later when we got to 8 weeks along, we decided to tell our closest friends and family!
This is how we decided to tell everyone:

Now that we are 12 weeks along and have gotten to tell everyone,  I feel so much relief.
I am the worst at keeping secrets and it eats at me if I cant tell anyone what is going on.

All I can say is 6 months better go by fast because I can not wait to meet this little one!!

We are so excited for this next chapter in our new life in Oregon!

Now we just cant wait to figure out what we are having!!!

THE FINAL WEEK

How far along?    39 weeks We are in the final week ladies and gents!! Maternity clothes? Only a few shirts  and a dress. Other than that I just wear leggings, dresses, and some of Michaels shirts. Stretch marks? Not a single one thank goodness! When I was in school I learned in my  Anatomy  and Physiology class that if you start putting on shay butter/coconut oil(I used the Palmers cocoa butter and sometimes add my 100% coconut essentials oil.) two months before getting pregnant, that it will help your skin loosen and become more elastic.  So once we decided to start trying I  immediately  got some lotion and put it on every other day(or you can put it on everyday).  I know that, that is what helped me not get any stretch marks. I cant  guarantee  it will work for everyone, but what I do know is that if you don't start lotioning your skin early, it for sure will not be ready for the  drastic ...

Kicking our summer off right.

Summer is officially here! My favorite season has finally arrived. There is no better way to celebrate the first weekend of summer then camping! Michael and I love camping. Their is just something about campfires, sleeping under the stars, and s'mores  that get me excited to camp. This weekend we camped in Provo canyon with some friends that are going to BYU. Once we got camp all set up and the fire going this little guy decided to pay us a visit. Not going to lie I thought it was a bear sneaking up on us at first. I was scared out of my mind, but then he stuck his head up and I felt a lot better. After making some yummy s'mores and relaxing by the fire we got in the cars and headed to squaw peak to  look at the beautiful lights from on top of the mountain. You can see all of Utah Valley from up there. Everyone knows that if you are looking to get a goodnights rest  that camping is not what you want to be doing. ...
