A trip to San Francisco

Michael, Me, and Katie took a spur of the moment trip to San Francisco for spring break.  When we got there we went straight to the hotel.  We stayed in a retro type hotel, it was so cool here are some of the pictures.

We had a blast and did everything we could there in three days.  We went to Union Square and got to do some shopping there and ate at an amazing pizza place called Blondie's.  Union Square is so big!!! There Macy's is 7 floors and that did not include the men stuff, they had a separate building for that. The building that was my favorite by far though was the Nike building it was really cool and had so many floors!

The next day we headed to fisherman's warf to get on our boat to Alcatraz.

 Welcome to Alcatraz
 Our tour of Alcatraz

They had the prettiest greenery there!!
This is where they would have there exercise time and play baseball.
Fishermans wharf was a lot of fun too here are more pictures of what we did that day
So much fun to drive down!

 Best Pizza place by far!!

We had a lot of fun on our trip to San Francisco.  It was a planned pretty good for planning it over night and leaving the next day.

OUR LITTLE PUMPKIN IS DUE MAY 9, 2015

Yup you read that right we are having a baby, May 9, 2015!! I surprised Michael by sending him a picture of my pregnancy test. So when he woke up that was the first thing he saw. I did the same with my mom because I needed her guidance on what I needed to do. It was defiantly killing her to not be able to tell anyone the news, but I definitely appreciate all the advice I have gotten as well as another person to talk to about it. We were so excited when we found out, we just wanted to tell everyone right away, but we waited and learned patience. I would have been so heart broken to have to tell everyone if we had a miscarriage. When we found out I was pregnant, I was 5 weeks along, so for my first appointment they had to take a blood test.  For those of you who know me, know that I do not do well  with needles and veins in the same sentence. As you can imagine I did not do well.   I kept moving an...

THINGS I LOVE

I feel it is so important to fall in love with as many things as we can, but to also fall in love with as many people as we can. As I have gotten older I have started to love things I did not care about when I was younger. I have grown to appreciate what my Heavenly Father has given to me on this Earth. and I have learned that when you love, you serve others. Which is the pure love of Christ...  and that is what will bring true happiness into your world. I am going to make a list throughout my life of things that I have fallen in love with. I want to be remembered as someone who loved everything and everyone. I want my kids to be able to know what I loved and that serving and loving everything is one of the  greatest gifts we have to become truly happy in this world. .......... Things I Love: -My Heavenly Father & Jesus Christ -The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints  -Michael Nelson, the greatest husband EV...

Super Bowl

For the Super Bowl this year we are tagging a long with Ben and Rachel and headed to Rachel's mom's house in Heber for the weekend. On Saturday we went to the Ice Castles that were in Midway, which touches Heber, so we decided it would be a good idea to go because towns get selected to host the Ice Castles and this is the 3rd time midway was selected, so we thought we better go because it might not come back again. Once we got there we had to hop into a huge line that did go pretty fast but while we were waiting there were some guys juggling fire torches and also two guy carving ice sculptures, the two they was working on were the seattle Seahawk's hawk and the Denver Bronco's Bronco.  I was really cool to watch.  Once we got in to the Ice Castle we were frozen, we definitely did not dress right for the weather and we went at night so it was even more cold, but it was so cool because they had lights shinning on the ice and it would change different colors too.  Here ar...
