our summer in Idaho

Where do I start? This summer was packet with a lot of adventures.  Well to start off our wonderful summer we went to the ice caves.  I  had been once before, but this time coming back I started to feel claustrophobic and kind of got scared to go in, but I just went for it and tried to not think about it.  We went with Breanna and Ryan, Amy and Blake, so it was a lot of fun.  The caves are actually pretty big but there are a lot of places that you are sliding on your back or crawling or on your belly, so it is always a blast going through them.  Once you get to the end of the caves there is a big slide made by lots of people sliding on this one part and man can you get going fast.  We also had glow sticks, so we broke them open at the end and sprayed them every where.  It looked like stars every where.  It was a really fun adventure!

We made it!!

Next was a camping trip with my family to Lake Palisades. We camped at a camp ground right under the dam. At the lake we were able to get a floating dock and spend the day there while jet skiing around.  Towards the end of our day we were being pulled on a tube behind the jet ski and the next thing we new the rope went up into the jet ski and we were stranded.  We flagged a boat down and the pulled us to the floating dock.  Once there they pulled our jet ski up onto the dock and by some random chance they had a grill tool and used that to fish the rope out of the water filter thing from the jet ski.  After that we were all fried and headed back to the camp ground, but man we had a lot of fun.

4th of July time!! For the 4th we headed to Driggs to celebrate the huntsman's 4th of July firework show! which by the way was sooooo amazing by far the best firework show in America.  It is even better than Idaho Falls! At the celebration he has a lot going on like air shows, magic shows, BMX biking show, and then a a talk from huntsman himself about America and what we stand for.  Then of course the amazing show.  I will also load a video of part of the firework show.

We also went to the Idaho Falls firework show on the actual 4th of July. Huntsman always does it over the weekend so more people can show up.

A THANKSGIVING FULL OF FAMILY & LAUGHTER

I was so excited when I found out my family was able to go to Moses Lake for Thanksgiving! Tualatin is only 4.45 hours away from Moses Lake, so once they said they said they were going,  Michael and I were definitely going too. We had so much fun with the family, but missed Kelsey and her husband a lot! Hopefully next holiday season they will be able to get more time off from the Marines. So one of the nights we were there we all played Heads Up (The app game Ellen Degeneres made that is like charades.)  We seriously all about pee'd our pants we were dying of laughter! By far one of the funnest game nights I have had in a while!  I was able to catch a few of them on video, but I definitely missed the funniest ones. Here is a look at our crazy and awesome family! Justin and Dad Michael and Uncle Corby Seriously though if you are looking for something fun to do with a bunch of people, this is it my friends!! Do it. I absolu...

THINGS I LOVE

I feel it is so important to fall in love with as many things as we can, but to also fall in love with as many people as we can. As I have gotten older I have started to love things I did not care about when I was younger. I have grown to appreciate what my Heavenly Father has given to me on this Earth. and I have learned that when you love, you serve others. Which is the pure love of Christ...  and that is what will bring true happiness into your world. I am going to make a list throughout my life of things that I have fallen in love with. I want to be remembered as someone who loved everything and everyone. I want my kids to be able to know what I loved and that serving and loving everything is one of the  greatest gifts we have to become truly happy in this world. .......... Super Bowl

For the Super Bowl this year we are tagging a long with Ben and Rachel and headed to Rachel's mom's house in Heber for the weekend. On Saturday we went to the Ice Castles that were in Midway, which touches Heber, so we decided it would be a good idea to go because towns get selected to host the Ice Castles and this is the 3rd time midway was selected, so we thought we better go because it might not come back again. Once we got there we had to hop into a huge line that did go pretty fast but while we were waiting there were some guys juggling fire torches and also two guy carving ice sculptures, the two they was working on were the seattle Seahawk's hawk and the Denver Bronco's Bronco.  I was really cool to watch.  Once we got in to the Ice Castle we were frozen, we definitely did not dress right for the weather and we went at night so it was even more cold, but it was so cool because they had lights shinning on the ice and it would change different colors too.  Here ar...
