TREVOR IS HOME!!!!

For those of you who didn't know, Trevor is my cousin who served a mission in Tonga for 2 years!! And he is finally home!! Trevor is like an older brother to me.  Even though we didn't grow up close to each other, with him being in Washington and me in Idaho, we would always be able to pick up where we left off.  Trevor has definitely always been there for me and I know he will still be there for me.  When he left for his mission though I was so proud of him and happy for the choices he was making, but I was sad that I would not be able to see him for 2 years, I new I was going to be able to e-mail him whenever I needed to, but I was still sad.  While Trevor was gone on his mission I met a guy in my Basketball class at BYU-Idaho and almost a year later I married him.  I was sad Trevor could not come to my wedding, I did feel like one of my siblings was missing.  A week or so after the wedding when I got my pictures done, I was able to send him some of the pictures form my special day, so that he could see what it looked like at the reception and what my dress looked like, who I had for bridesmaids, and he got to see who from the family was able to come.
Even though Trevor was gone for 2 years, it really did not feel like that it felt like he was only gone for maybe a half a year! HIs mission went by fast for me.  As you can imagine I was so excited to go see him once he got back.  Trevor had his homecoming talk November 11, so me my mom and my sister Alesha headed up to Moses Lake to see him!

This is a picture of all of us cousins, well not all of course, but we all hang out together

My Trevor is back!!

We finally got to get another picture with all of us together.  This is all of us through the years! It is crazy to see all of us growing up and going to collage and getting married!

It was fun going to Moses Lake and getting to see everyone.  Especially Kelsey because she is living there with my grandma going to high school there for her senior year.

Kicking our summer off right.

Summer is officially here! My favorite season has finally arrived. There is no better way to celebrate the first weekend of summer then camping! Michael and I love camping. Their is just something about campfires, sleeping under the stars, and s'mores  that get me excited to camp. This weekend we camped in Provo canyon with some friends that are going to BYU. Once we got camp all set up and the fire going this little guy decided to pay us a visit. Not going to lie I thought it was a bear sneaking up on us at first. I was scared out of my mind, but then he stuck his head up and I felt a lot better. After making some yummy s'mores and relaxing by the fire we got in the cars and headed to squaw peak to  look at the beautiful lights from on top of the mountain. You can see all of Utah Valley from up there. Everyone knows that if you are looking to get a goodnights rest  that camping is not what you want to be doing. ...

Home For The Holiday's

Snow is falling, Christmas music is playing and school is out for the holiday! We got to spend Christmas with my family again this year! I was so excited to get the semester over with and head to Driggs for 2 weeks.   Up until Christmas eve me and my mom baked some yummy Christmas treats.  Of course most of them went to neighbors and friends.  And this year instead of decorating a ginger bread house we made some cookies and decorated those.  It was still a lot of fun and you can eat the cookies when you are done.  Unlike ginger bread houses. Then once that was done we also made some hot cocoa and sat by the fire to what the Christmas message given by the first presidency of the church that was on that night. Here was my favorite talk of the Christmas Devotional Well Christmas Eve has finally arrived and like every year we all head to grandma's house for dinner, gifts and my favorite part reading in the Bible about Jesus...
