Home For The Holiday's

Snow is falling, Christmas music is playing and school is out for the holiday!

We got to spend Christmas with my family again this year! I was so excited to get the semester over with and head to Driggs for 2 weeks.
Up until Christmas eve me and my mom baked some yummy Christmas treats.  Of course most of them went to neighbors and friends.  And this year instead of decorating a ginger bread house we made some cookies and decorated those.  It was still a lot of fun and you can eat the cookies when you are done.  Unlike ginger bread houses. Then once that was done we also made some hot cocoa and sat by the fire to what the Christmas message given by the first presidency of the church that was on that night.

Here was my favorite talk of the Christmas Devotional

Well Christmas Eve has finally arrived and like every year we all head to grandma's house for dinner, gifts and my favorite part reading in the Bible about Jesus in Luke. After the story has been read we all sing Christmas songs and some of the kids will even do solos.  It's fun to watch because a lot of them act really shy while singing.

After spending time with family we headed back home to open one present which is always pajama's and we love opening them every year.  We all get so excited to see what kind of pajama's we got this year.  It was funny because my mom played a trick on Michael and Justin when they both opened up there they did not like what they saw haha. Just keep in mind that Michael is a die hard Blazer fan and Justin is a die hard Heat fan. Here is the video I got of them opening there pajamas.

Here is what the girls pajamas looked like.  I actually got to pick them out with my mom hehe.  They are so soft and cute! Alesha got mad though, she was mortified that she did not get footy pajamas.  The funny thing about it is that she never told my mom that she wanted them, so Alesha didn't quit get what she wanted for pajamas this year, but I think later on she decided she liked them.

Know here are some pictures with all of us and Michael and Justin wearing the wrong shirts haha

There we go! Thats the way they like it haha

Well it is Christmas day and what a wonderful morning it is.  I think everyone got out of bed at 7:30  which is a lot better then years past! Here are some more pictures of our Christmas Morning.

I got Michael some parts for his Ford Mustang!

Michael fixed the star that Alesha accidentally broke and surprised me with it in a frame!

Uh Oh mom got a gun!!

In the spirit of Christmas I just want everyone to know how grateful I am for my wonderful family I have and all the wonderful memories and traditions we all share! I would be so lonely with out my awesome family and the comfort they bring me in my life and excepting me for who I am.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

A THANKSGIVING FULL OF FAMILY & LAUGHTER

I was so excited when I found out my family was able to go to Moses Lake for Thanksgiving! Tualatin is only 4.45 hours away from Moses Lake, so once they said they said they were going,  Michael and I were definitely going too. We had so much fun with the family, but missed Kelsey and her husband a lot! Hopefully next holiday season they will be able to get more time off from the Marines. So one of the nights we were there we all played Heads Up (The app game Ellen Degeneres made that is like charades.)  We seriously all about pee'd our pants we were dying of laughter! By far one of the funnest game nights I have had in a while!  I was able to catch a few of them on video, but I definitely missed the funniest ones. Here is a look at our crazy and awesome family! Justin and Dad Michael and Uncle Corby Seriously though if you are looking for something fun to do with a bunch of people, this is it my friends!! Do it. I absolu...

THINGS I LOVE

I feel it is so important to fall in love with as many things as we can, but to also fall in love with as many people as we can. As I have gotten older I have started to love things I did not care about when I was younger. I have grown to appreciate what my Heavenly Father has given to me on this Earth. and I have learned that when you love, you serve others. Which is the pure love of Christ...  and that is what will bring true happiness into your world. I am going to make a list throughout my life of things that I have fallen in love with. I want to be remembered as someone who loved everything and everyone. I want my kids to be able to know what I loved and that serving and loving everything is one of the  greatest gifts we have to become truly happy in this world. .......... Super Bowl

For the Super Bowl this year we are tagging a long with Ben and Rachel and headed to Rachel's mom's house in Heber for the weekend. On Saturday we went to the Ice Castles that were in Midway, which touches Heber, so we decided it would be a good idea to go because towns get selected to host the Ice Castles and this is the 3rd time midway was selected, so we thought we better go because it might not come back again. Once we got there we had to hop into a huge line that did go pretty fast but while we were waiting there were some guys juggling fire torches and also two guy carving ice sculptures, the two they was working on were the seattle Seahawk's hawk and the Denver Bronco's Bronco.  I was really cool to watch.  Once we got in to the Ice Castle we were frozen, we definitely did not dress right for the weather and we went at night so it was even more cold, but it was so cool because they had lights shinning on the ice and it would change different colors too.  Here ar...
