Another Winter in Portland

Well this winter I was able to get my job back at Club Sport.  Not only did I get the juice bar back, but they liked my work ethic so much they also put me on fitness floor staff, which was awesome! I loved it because I got to be out and around the members of the club and got to help those that needed help with equipment or whatever it is that they may have needed, oh and it payed more than the juice bar, so it was really nice having those two jobs!

This winter we did a lot of things, but some of those will be in different post so be looking for those, like our Hawaii Trip.

I was kind of bummed because we only got to go to one blazer game, but it was still a lot of fun and Lindsey, Michael's sister got to come with us to and the best part it was free for us to go.

A month or so after being in Portland my sister actually came and visited me because she is going to school in Moses Lake to finish out her senior year.  It was fun getting to see her because I had not seen her for sense November.  It was cool being able to show her around and hangout with her before she had to go back. We also got to take her to voodoo doughnuts and of course she loved it!  It is one of those places that when you come to Portland you have to go to voodoo doughnuts.

Now we move on to February.  The month that Aubree got married! I was so excited for the wedding. She had me as on of her bridesmaids, so I bought a plane ticket and flew down to Salt Lake to attend there wedding.  Her wedding was the first one I was able to attend in the Temple.  It was so beautiful and I was so excited to finally go inside the Salt Lake Temple.
Here are some pictures of her lovely day!

Me with the lovely Bride!

She of course was our hair dresser!

and I got to see Keng!

After the reception me and my family headed to the BYU vs Gonzaga game.  I had never been to a collage basketball game before.  Well one I could remember anyways, so it was such a cool experience. BYU has a really cool entrance.  Here is a video of what I was able to get of it.  I didn't get to record the part where the sheets drop form the ceiling, so just so you are aware that is where the sheets come form.  Over all it was a great game, but mostly because Gonzaga won!!

The next morning before my plane flew out we stopped in Salt Lake to eat at the Original Pancake House. which by the way is amazing!! my favorite thing there is there banana pancakes with coconut syrup!! ahh so good.

haha

So far this winter break has been a pretty good one! Look for more of our adventures we will be going on this winter break!

THINGS I LOVE

I feel it is so important to fall in love with as many things as we can, but to also fall in love with as many people as we can. As I have gotten older I have started to love things I did not care about when I was younger. I have grown to appreciate what my Heavenly Father has given to me on this Earth. and I have learned that when you love, you serve others. Which is the pure love of Christ...  and that is what will bring true happiness into your world. I am going to make a list throughout my life of things that I have fallen in love with. I want to be remembered as someone who loved everything and everyone. I want my kids to be able to know what I loved and that serving and loving everything is one of the  greatest gifts we have to become truly happy in this world. .......... Things I Love: -My Heavenly Father & Jesus Christ -The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints  -Michael Nelson, the greatest husband EV...

Super Bowl

For the Super Bowl this year we are tagging a long with Ben and Rachel and headed to Rachel's mom's house in Heber for the weekend. On Saturday we went to the Ice Castles that were in Midway, which touches Heber, so we decided it would be a good idea to go because towns get selected to host the Ice Castles and this is the 3rd time midway was selected, so we thought we better go because it might not come back again. Once we got there we had to hop into a huge line that did go pretty fast but while we were waiting there were some guys juggling fire torches and also two guy carving ice sculptures, the two they was working on were the seattle Seahawk's hawk and the Denver Bronco's Bronco.  I was really cool to watch.  Once we got in to the Ice Castle we were frozen, we definitely did not dress right for the weather and we went at night so it was even more cold, but it was so cool because they had lights shinning on the ice and it would change different colors too.  Here ar...

HIKING THROUGH THE NARROWS

Our camping trip down in Zions was amazing! I had never been down in Southern Utah, so I was very excited to go and explore. Our first stop was Cedar City. We gotten in pretty late so we just found a campsite and went to bed. We got up pretty early the next morning to find our next campsite and to hike the narrows. Once we got our campsite all set up at our new location in ------ we changed and headed to Zions . I will say there is nothing in Southern Utah, but yet it is so beautiful. When we finally got into Zions we road the bus up to the beginning of the narrows. Here are pictures of our amazing experience in where I think is the most beautiful place in Zions. The Crew.   Hiking water shoes!!  Cooper being funny in the water. It looks like a dead person floating down the river. The last adventure in the Narrows was building a rock pyramid.   After our wonde...
