Happy Valentines Day!

I love my dates with Michael! I get so excited for them when I know we are going out. I especially love the dates when we go out for dinner and a movie! This valentines day is exactly what we did.  He took me to my favorite restaurant The Cheesecake Factory, where we discovered the best shrimp ever in our pasta, which was the garlic noodles with shrimp. Oh my goodness it is heavenly.  And of course we got a red velvet cheesecake.
After our wonderful dinner we headed to the movies to watch Safe Haven. That movie was soooo good! It had some big twists in it that you did not see coming at all.  It makes you cry and laugh, which is what I signify to be a great movie.  I will say towards the end of the movie when the climax hits you get frustrated because things aren't going how you thought they were going to go. Anyways as you can probably tell I loved it! I want to own it.
Once the movie got over we headed back home and little did I know a presents awaited me.  My husband is so thoughtful, he always has awesome purposes for his gifts.  He got me a swim suit and flop flops for our Hawaii trip! How cute is that.  Of course he had help from his sister picking it out, but he came up with the idea which is awesome on his part because he at least remembered me saying "anything involving clothes, jewelry, or shoes I want!" Aren't I right girls?

I had a wonderful night and am grateful for a wonderful husband who wants to take me out.  He really makes me feel special.

Kicking our summer off right.

Summer is officially here! My favorite season has finally arrived. There is no better way to celebrate the first weekend of summer then camping! Michael and I love camping. Their is just something about campfires, sleeping under the stars, and s'mores  that get me excited to camp. This weekend we camped in Provo canyon with some friends that are going to BYU. Once we got camp all set up and the fire going this little guy decided to pay us a visit. Not going to lie I thought it was a bear sneaking up on us at first. I was scared out of my mind, but then he stuck his head up and I felt a lot better. After making some yummy s'mores and relaxing by the fire we got in the cars and headed to squaw peak to  look at the beautiful lights from on top of the mountain. You can see all of Utah Valley from up there. Everyone knows that if you are looking to get a goodnights rest  that camping is not what you want to be doing. ...

Home For The Holiday's

Snow is falling, Christmas music is playing and school is out for the holiday! We got to spend Christmas with my family again this year! I was so excited to get the semester over with and head to Driggs for 2 weeks.   Up until Christmas eve me and my mom baked some yummy Christmas treats.  Of course most of them went to neighbors and friends.  And this year instead of decorating a ginger bread house we made some cookies and decorated those.  It was still a lot of fun and you can eat the cookies when you are done.  Unlike ginger bread houses. Then once that was done we also made some hot cocoa and sat by the fire to what the Christmas message given by the first presidency of the church that was on that night. Here was my favorite talk of the Christmas Devotional Well Christmas Eve has finally arrived and like every year we all head to grandma's house for dinner, gifts and my favorite part reading in the Bible about Jesus...
