A winter Engagement

Thursday after class Michael asked me to go with him to Ashton the next day
to go see one of his buddies from his mission.

Michael said we would be having lunch at a park with his mission friend and
a girl he is trying to impress.

As we drove out there the next day Michael has me text the guy to tell him we are almost there.
His friend texts back and says they are behind schedule and to start with out us.

We finally get to the place where we are meeting them,
which was a camp ground place by Mesa Falls.

He told me that his friend said there was a dock if you walked down the path a little bit,
so we started to walk and sure enough there was a dock.

It still had a lot of snow on it so it was kinda of hard getting to the end where the deck was out on the water.

When we finally got to the end Michael got out a blanket and put it on the ground so we wouldn't get dirty and we sat on the end of the deck for a little just waiting around.

Then Michael said he wanted to go see what was on the other end of the deck so he went over there and I stayed sitting down because I was really cold and bundled up in my coat.

A few seconds later Michael tells me to come over there because it is really cool looking.
So I get up and get all cold again and walk over to him.

He gives me hug and then looks at me and tells me with a smile on his face,
that there is no one else coming,
that it is just us.

He begins then to tell me how much he loves me and more.
He then pulls out a ring and gets to his knee and proposes to me.

I of course was freaking out and did not know what to say or do, I bent down and started hugging him and crying and he asked
"is that a yes" and i said yes...of course.

He put the ring on and I was the happiest girl ever in that moment!

As we finished our lunch and headed back to Rexburg he began to tell me all the planning he had done behind my back.  He had even went to Driggs to ask my Dad if he could marry me and I had no idea! I have never been so surprised in my life, I had no idea what was happening.

For me that was one of the best days ever & I could not stop smiling the whole

Here are some pictures from the wonderful proposal!!

A THANKSGIVING FULL OF FAMILY & LAUGHTER

I was so excited when I found out my family was able to go to Moses Lake for Thanksgiving! Tualatin is only 4.45 hours away from Moses Lake, so once they said they said they were going,  Michael and I were definitely going too. We had so much fun with the family, but missed Kelsey and her husband a lot! Hopefully next holiday season they will be able to get more time off from the Marines. So one of the nights we were there we all played Heads Up (The app game Ellen Degeneres made that is like charades.)  We seriously all about pee'd our pants we were dying of laughter! By far one of the funnest game nights I have had in a while!  I was able to catch a few of them on video, but I definitely missed the funniest ones. Here is a look at our crazy and awesome family! Justin and Dad Michael and Uncle Corby Seriously though if you are looking for something fun to do with a bunch of people, this is it my friends!! Do it. I absolu...

THINGS I LOVE

I feel it is so important to fall in love with as many things as we can, but to also fall in love with as many people as we can. As I have gotten older I have started to love things I did not care about when I was younger. I have grown to appreciate what my Heavenly Father has given to me on this Earth. and I have learned that when you love, you serve others. Which is the pure love of Christ...  and that is what will bring true happiness into your world. I am going to make a list throughout my life of things that I have fallen in love with. I want to be remembered as someone who loved everything and everyone. I want my kids to be able to know what I loved and that serving and loving everything is one of the  greatest gifts we have to become truly happy in this world. .......... Super Bowl

For the Super Bowl this year we are tagging a long with Ben and Rachel and headed to Rachel's mom's house in Heber for the weekend. On Saturday we went to the Ice Castles that were in Midway, which touches Heber, so we decided it would be a good idea to go because towns get selected to host the Ice Castles and this is the 3rd time midway was selected, so we thought we better go because it might not come back again. Once we got there we had to hop into a huge line that did go pretty fast but while we were waiting there were some guys juggling fire torches and also two guy carving ice sculptures, the two they was working on were the seattle Seahawk's hawk and the Denver Bronco's Bronco.  I was really cool to watch.  Once we got in to the Ice Castle we were frozen, we definitely did not dress right for the weather and we went at night so it was even more cold, but it was so cool because they had lights shinning on the ice and it would change different colors too.  Here ar...
