HIKING THROUGH THE NARROWS

Our camping trip down in Zions was amazing!

I had never been down in Southern Utah, so I was very excited to go and explore.

Our first stop was Cedar City.
We gotten in pretty late so we just found a campsite and went to bed.

We got up pretty early the next morning to find our next campsite and to hike the narrows.
Once we got our campsite all set up at our new location in ------ we changed and headed to Zions .

I will say there is nothing in Southern Utah, but yet it is so beautiful.

When we finally got into Zions we road the bus up to the beginning of the narrows.

Here are pictures of our amazing experience in where I think is the most beautiful place in Zions.

The Crew.

Hiking water shoes!!

Cooper being funny in the water.
It looks like a dead person floating down the river.

The last adventure in the Narrows was building a rock pyramid.

After our wonderful hike through the Narrows
we headed to St. George to eat at Red Robbin for Matts birthday.
Which after an all afternoon hike Red Robbin tasted soooo amazing!!

After dinner we headed back to camp and messed around camp.

And we ran into this scary thing!!
It was right next to our tent!
Biggest spider I have ever seen.
Tarantulas scare the crap out of me.

Skipping rocks to a beautiful sun set.

The cake we made for Matt in the dutch oven.
It was very delicious.

So this was the kind of weather we had to sleep in.
And in a tent with sleeping bags we were literally roasting.

The last and final day in Zions we did one last hike to the emerald pools.
It was a pretty hike and nice and short.

Here are a few pictures I got from the hike.

Over all we had an amazing time and I want to go back so bad.

If you have never been to Zions National Park I highly recommend it.

OUR LITTLE PUMPKIN IS DUE MAY 9, 2015

Yup you read that right we are having a baby, May 9, 2015!! I surprised Michael by sending him a picture of my pregnancy test. So when he woke up that was the first thing he saw. I did the same with my mom because I needed her guidance on what I needed to do. It was defiantly killing her to not be able to tell anyone the news, but I definitely appreciate all the advice I have gotten as well as another person to talk to about it. We were so excited when we found out, we just wanted to tell everyone right away, but we waited and learned patience. I would have been so heart broken to have to tell everyone if we had a miscarriage. When we found out I was pregnant, I was 5 weeks along, so for my first appointment they had to take a blood test.  For those of you who know me, know that I do not do well  with needles and veins in the same sentence. As you can imagine I did not do well.   I kept moving an...

THINGS I LOVE

I feel it is so important to fall in love with as many things as we can, but to also fall in love with as many people as we can. As I have gotten older I have started to love things I did not care about when I was younger. I have grown to appreciate what my Heavenly Father has given to me on this Earth. and I have learned that when you love, you serve others. Which is the pure love of Christ...  and that is what will bring true happiness into your world. I am going to make a list throughout my life of things that I have fallen in love with. I want to be remembered as someone who loved everything and everyone. I want my kids to be able to know what I loved and that serving and loving everything is one of the  greatest gifts we have to become truly happy in this world. .......... Things I Love: -My Heavenly Father & Jesus Christ -The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints  -Michael Nelson, the greatest husband EV...

We finally made it to Bend after a ten and a half hour trip in the car! Sense we showed up a day early we wanted to camp out for the night,  so we headed to sisters where we found and opening for a tent site. Pretty view from our tent Once we got all set up and ready for the night. we headed to the main st. of Sisters to find a place to eat,  sense we did not bring any food with us for camping. While walking around and exploring all the little shops there we found this cute Mexican Restaurant  The food was very good. They even grow their own mint! After dinner we got some huckleberry ice cream and headed back to camp to enjoy the river that was by our campsite. After camping for a night we headed into Bend to go shopping for supplies for the week long vacation in Sunriver. As you can see we know how to shop at Costco. After shopping we headed to the ho...
