BYU vs OSU

While in school I found this really cute old desk at a yard sell and wanted to fix it up and put it in our spare bedroom.  The lady was wanting $30 for it, but I talked her down to $15 because one of the legs was broken and I was going to have to re-paint it, so she gave it to me for that price.  I was so excited to get started! The best part about all of this is that ACE Hardware had there free pint of paint day going on, so I even got some paint for free it was awesome!  I started on my project literally 2 days after I got the desk.  I was so excited to get started on it.  Here is a picture of before and after I finished it.

After having it for maybe 2 weeks, I got online and looked to see how much a BYU game would be.  When I was looking OSU happened to be playing BYU in Provo, I checked to see how much it was going to be and it was around $40.  You are probably wondering how this has anything to do with a desk I fixed up? Well I got this great idea to now turn around and sell that desk, so I put it on craigslist for $50.  I got a hit the next day and she took it for full price. This $15 desk that I got and turned into a $50 desk paid for our fun trip to the BYU vs OSU game. Here are some pictures of the game.





We had such a fun time! We ran into so many people that we new.  It was also my very first collage football game to attend!

WHERE YOU GO I WILL GO

You always know when someone is going to giving you bad new. They sit you down and look at you with a sad/serious face. Then come the words you new you would hear, "I have some bad news".  And in your mind you are trying to figure out what could possibly be going on. Kicking our summer off right.

Summer is officially here! My favorite season has finally arrived. There is no better way to celebrate the first weekend of summer then camping! Michael and I love camping. Their is just something about campfires, sleeping under the stars, and s'mores  that get me excited to camp. This weekend we camped in Provo canyon with some friends that are going to BYU. Once we got camp all set up and the fire going this little guy decided to pay us a visit. Not going to lie I thought it was a bear sneaking up on us at first. I was scared out of my mind, but then he stuck his head up and I felt a lot better. After making some yummy s'mores and relaxing by the fire we got in the cars and headed to squaw peak to  look at the beautiful lights from on top of the mountain. THE FIRST TRIMESTER

My first 3 months of pregnancy went by so fast.  It probably had a lot to do with us moving and spending a lot of our time packing and playing in the sun as much as we could before heading towards rainy Oregon.  I was also very blessed with good health. I have been lucky enough to miss all the first trimester sicknesses you hear about. The only thing that has sounded gross to me is sweets. Candy Baked goods & Soda you name it, it all sounded gross to me. Which I guess is a blessing! All I wanted to eat was fruit, pasta, & pizza. They weren't true craving though, just whenever I would try to think of what I wanted to eat it was always fruit in my head first. I hope it stays that way the rest of my pregnancy because I could definitely handle that! Because of moving to Oregon we have not been able to go to the doctors on a regular basis because of the whole switching insurance stuff, which is fine because it is only the first trimest...
