1 Month Old Macey


LOVES:
Bath time.
Being swaddled to fall asleep.
White noise sound machine to fall asleep.
Going on walks.
Eating ever 3 hours.

HATE:
Your carseat.
Gripe water and Mylicon drops.
Her pacifier, she will use it for a little bit and then spit it out. She also gives a grossed out face whenever you try to give it to her.

STARTED TO DO/MILE STONES:
Lifting her head really good.
Moved from newborn diapers to size 1 at 3 weeks old.
Still in New born clothes though.

THINGS YOU HAVE DONE:
Ventured out to the mall at 2 weeks old.
And also to some garage sales.
Went on a hike to Silver Falls you were 4 weeks old and you slept the whole time.
You were blessed at 4 weeks old.

THINGS THAT I LOVE:
I love how well you eat and sleep. You only wake up once through the night to eat.
How much your little brother loves you and loves to hold and give you kisses.
How much more of a cuddler you are compared to your brother.
How much you grunt.  You grunt when you want to eat, you grunt when you wake up, you grunt when you have to poop, you grunt for everything and it is so cute.

Kicking our summer off right.

Summer is officially here! My favorite season has finally arrived. There is no better way to celebrate the first weekend of summer then camping! Michael and I love camping. Their is just something about campfires, sleeping under the stars, and s'mores  that get me excited to camp. This weekend we camped in Provo canyon with some friends that are going to BYU. Once we got camp all set up and the fire going this little guy decided to pay us a visit. Not going to lie I thought it was a bear sneaking up on us at first. I was scared out of my mind, but then he stuck his head up and I felt a lot better. After making some yummy s'mores and relaxing by the fire we got in the cars and headed to squaw peak to  look at the beautiful lights from on top of the mountain. You can see all of Utah Valley from up there. Everyone knows that if you are looking to get a goodnights rest  that camping is not what you want to be doing. ...

OUR HOSPITAL STAY

Throughout my pregnancy I was continually told how everyone was  so excited to get home from the hospital after delivering... So I was expecting that I would be that way too. They told me that they hated how the nurses would have to come in and check on you every hour and wake the baby to check the babies vitals also. and I understand, that could get very frustrating.... Some people told me the food was horrible, and the nurses were mean and would not help out much. That basically they just treated you like another patient and didn't care that this was your special moment with your new baby.   So needless to say I was kinda nervous for this hospital stay.   I did not want to have that terrible of a time. ............... Well my hospital stay turned out very different from what I was expecting.  My nurses were absolutely amazing  the food was fabulous the pediatricians were so kind the service was impeccable and ...
