Macey's Blessing Day

I am so grateful for the priesthood and the blessings it brings to our lives.
I am so grateful we have a priesthood holder in our home who we can call on to give us those blessings from our Heavenly Father.

Today Macey was able to receive some of those blessings.  Michael did a wonderful job.  In the blessing he mentioned how Macey has been a sweet spirit to have in our home.  She will be a great example for Liam and help bring peace into our home and family.  Our hopes for your future are to stay strong in the Gospel and to find a righteous husband to take you to the temple.

Macey's blessing dress was made by a friend in our ward, Kaitlin Madson.  She made it from my wedding dress that was just sitting in the closet collecting dust. This was the most perfect way to use my dress and it turned out so cute.  Now Macey has a keep sake from me and can now pass it on to her kids.  Even the headband is made from my dress. I am so happy how it turned out.  We even have left overs to do another 2 dresses depending on if I have more girl.
If I have boys we can make bowties.

Your blessing day was a special and lovely day Macey.  We are so happy to have you in this family.  You fit perfectly in it, we love you so much princess.

A THANKSGIVING FULL OF FAMILY & LAUGHTER

I was so excited when I found out my family was able to go to Moses Lake for Thanksgiving! Tualatin is only 4.45 hours away from Moses Lake, so once they said they said they were going,  Michael and I were definitely going too. We had so much fun with the family, but missed Kelsey and her husband a lot! Hopefully next holiday season they will be able to get more time off from the Marines. So one of the nights we were there we all played Heads Up (The app game Ellen Degeneres made that is like charades.)  We seriously all about pee'd our pants we were dying of laughter! By far one of the funnest game nights I have had in a while!  I was able to catch a few of them on video, but I definitely missed the funniest ones. Here is a look at our crazy and awesome family! Justin and Dad Michael and Uncle Corby Seriously though if you are looking for something fun to do with a bunch of people, this is it my friends!! Do it. I absolu...

THINGS I LOVE

I feel it is so important to fall in love with as many things as we can, but to also fall in love with as many people as we can. As I have gotten older I have started to love things I did not care about when I was younger. I have grown to appreciate what my Heavenly Father has given to me on this Earth. and I have learned that when you love, you serve others. Which is the pure love of Christ...  and that is what will bring true happiness into your world. I am going to make a list throughout my life of things that I have fallen in love with. I want to be remembered as someone who loved everything and everyone. I want my kids to be able to know what I loved and that serving and loving everything is one of the  greatest gifts we have to become truly happy in this world. .......... Super Bowl

For the Super Bowl this year we are tagging a long with Ben and Rachel and headed to Rachel's mom's house in Heber for the weekend. On Saturday we went to the Ice Castles that were in Midway, which touches Heber, so we decided it would be a good idea to go because towns get selected to host the Ice Castles and this is the 3rd time midway was selected, so we thought we better go because it might not come back again. Once we got there we had to hop into a huge line that did go pretty fast but while we were waiting there were some guys juggling fire torches and also two guy carving ice sculptures, the two they was working on were the seattle Seahawk's hawk and the Denver Bronco's Bronco.  I was really cool to watch.  Once we got in to the Ice Castle we were frozen, we definitely did not dress right for the weather and we went at night so it was even more cold, but it was so cool because they had lights shinning on the ice and it would change different colors too.  Here ar...
