My Target Tricks and Tips!

Target is one of my FAVORITE stores hands down. They have some of the best deals around, but it is one of those stores that you have to watch carefully because if you don't you will end up spending a lot of money.  Here are some of my tricks when shopping at Target.
  1. When shopping at Target I never buy an item on that day, unless it is on sale and is the lowest price it will go.  I will go back the next week and see if it got marked down and if not then I wait until the next week and it should be marked down then.  This is because they mark down items every two weeks, so it will just depend on when you hit it.  Time is your best friend when shopping at Target.
  2. Always look at the end of every shelving unit there are always marked down items that you can get for a really good price you just have to find the right shelving units that have the sale items.
  3. Never order on-line! I check their on-line items all the time, and items I find in the store that are on sale are not on-line. So be very careful if you have to order on-line.  Try to use coupons and whatever else you can if you have to shop on-line.
  4. make sure to keep the receipt! if an item you bought lowers in price even more take it to them and they will fix the price and give your money back. Or just return it and buy it again.  Either way you will still be getting the better deal.
Here is an other blog that goes into depth about how to get the best deals from Target (click here). Its a lot of information, but it helped me figure out some of these tricks on my own.

Comment below if you have any other tricks up your sleeve when it comes to shopping at Target.

Kicking our summer off right.

Summer is officially here! My favorite season has finally arrived. There is no better way to celebrate the first weekend of summer then camping! Michael and I love camping. Their is just something about campfires, sleeping under the stars, and s'mores  that get me excited to camp. This weekend we camped in Provo canyon with some friends that are going to BYU. Once we got camp all set up and the fire going this little guy decided to pay us a visit. Not going to lie I thought it was a bear sneaking up on us at first. I was scared out of my mind, but then he stuck his head up and I felt a lot better. After making some yummy s'mores and relaxing by the fire we got in the cars and headed to squaw peak to  look at the beautiful lights from on top of the mountain. You can see all of Utah Valley from up there. Everyone knows that if you are looking to get a goodnights rest  that camping is not what you want to be doing. ...

I was so excited when I found out my family was able to go to Moses Lake for Thanksgiving! Tualatin is only 4.45 hours away from Moses Lake, so once they said they said they were going,  Michael and I were definitely going too. We had so much fun with the family, but missed Kelsey and her husband a lot! Hopefully next holiday season they will be able to get more time off from the Marines. So one of the nights we were there we all played Heads Up (The app game Ellen Degeneres made that is like charades.)  We seriously all about pee'd our pants we were dying of laughter! By far one of the funnest game nights I have had in a while!  I was able to catch a few of them on video, but I definitely missed the funniest ones. Here is a look at our crazy and awesome family! There is nothing better than spending time with friends and family. I cherish every moment I get with them. Never take time with your family for granted because you can never get that time back. I am the most  happy  when I am around family.   My goal this year is to try to be around family as much as I can because  those are the memories I want to remember the most. Here are some pictures of the awesome weekend with family and friends. .......... We got to go to the Ogden Raptors vs. the Idaho Falls Chuckers game with our friends Ben and Rachel As of lately Zupas soup, salad & sandwiches has become one of my favorite places to eat,  so before going to the game I made everyone eat at Zupas with me.  such good food!! Overall it was a really great time with our awesome friends. and of course I was cheering for the Chuckers... even though they lost. The girls got to come so it was fun having them ...
